The Society of Brunswick Shaggers meets in Oak Island, with members from nearby Southport, St. James, Bolivia, and other parts of Brunswick County and the Cape Fear Region. We are proud members of The Association of Carolina Shag Clubs (ACSC) and SOS (Society of Stranders).
Our shag dance club meets on the third Thursday of the month, with a few exceptions due to holidays and such. Non-members are always welcome.
