Kind of a large and busy newsletter this quarter. Lots of articles, new members and links. We again remind you that our new website is now finally up and running. It’s a VERY large website to say the least, but it shows all of our Member Clubs, our many multi-day dance events, & our numerous Supporting Members that includes Dance Instructors and Deejays. We’ve also included multiple videos showing many of our various dance styles and important up-to-date copyrighted music information.
On our Home Page, you’ll find that we’ve even included a new “jukebox” feature where you can surf our site while enjoying lots of FastDance music that reflects many of our dance styles including Bop, Shag, Swing, Lindy, Country & Ballroom. We’ve even thrown in some of your favorite Line Dance and Disco music. Since sending out our 1st quarter newsletter, we have added another 20 songs to our jukebox. So again, ENJOY!

If for some reason you’ve yet to renew your 2023 membership, we invite you to complete your application for membership and licensing for 2023. There is an option on the application to deduct your 2022 music licensing credit, if applicable. We offer printable forms for you to mail in along with member dues and music licensing fees. We realize it can be difficult to estimate how many attendees you will have for 2023, but just do the best you can. We can always reconfigure the numbers at a later date. If you have attendee credit extended from 2022 and you just need to pay membership dues, you may do so by completing the membership form and send it along with dues by mail. If you’d like, we can send you forms by email attachment. Our PayPal account has become a little more reliable lately. All signs point to 2023 being a banner year for our National FastDance community. It’s about time that we all get back to some serious dancing!! Stay up to date on canceled events, share virtual classes, or just hang out with us on our Facebook group.

Do you really, really like GREAT music?? Carl’s Gold - Check it out!

Hello - I’m Carl B. Peeples. At Bill Maddox’s invitation, I’d like to tell you a little bit about, what is in my opinion, one of the best radio stations that you might ever put an ear to on Planet Earth! It is CGR (Carl’s Gold Radio), an Internet Radio Station that is heard worldwide, 24/7/365. It is absolutely the best music ever recorded and is truly the music of our lives. Some of you might have already listened to or might be familiar with CGR. For those not familiar with CGR, it is found on the Internet at www.carlsgold.com. Actually there are three stations in our group providing a very diverse and eclectic realm of music from three of the most loved genres ever. Our flagship station of the three, CGR, has a format that is a bell curve featuring mostly Rock n’ Roll and Pop music from the dawn of Rock n’ Roll, i.e., the late fifties through the mid-sixties. But we play all the hits…absolutely EVERY CHART HIT…from 1950 through 1969 and with an occasional venture as far back as the 1920’s and right up to yesterday. If you visit the website, you’ll learn about all three of these magnificent stations. And you can listen to them anywhere in the World that you can access the Internet. You can “Bluetooth” them for your car radio or any other Bluetooth receiver for 100% pure high fidelity sound. We are currently working on a new feature to be added to our lineup, “Carolina Beach Music”. This feature will be loaded with wonderful Beach Music as we know it along with historical vignettes and news all about the Grand Strand, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Now, if you want to get started listening immediately, just click on one of the icons directly below for the station of your choice! You might have to hold the ctrl key while left clicking on the icon or right click on the icon and select "Open Link" in the dropdown menu. If none of that works…and you never can tell sometimes…then simply go to the website, www.carlsgold.com, and select the icon of your choice. Happy listening! By the way, Bill and I graduated from High School together…Andrew Jackson Senior High School, Jacksonville, Florida, Class of 1958! The Music of Your Life, 24/7/365, Worldwide: www.carlsgold.com
Or Click directly on the Icon of your pleasure! All hit music…all the time
